The Market's Difficulty Digesting the Issues

Record issuance by the UK DMR, and obviously with the BOE's Q2 operations as well, is adding to a lot of gilts entering the hands of private investors more than ever before. But are the high yield making it easier for the UK in terms of navigating that issuance program and sort of mitigating volatility? That is a very difficult question to answer because the actual details around the digestion of issuance, they're slightly opaque.
