The Importance of Public Service

I know you're a political addict, but I know a lot of political addicts and they have not done it. Why? Well truthfully, I've been incredibly fortunate in the work that I've been able to do over the last, what, seven almost eight years. So I care passionately about Scotland. And it felt to me that actually the time was right to try and put my shoulder back to the wheel. That's where I've been for the last few months, working first to be selected and then to take the message onto the doorsteps.
