The Belarus Red Cross and Ukraine's Deportation of Ukrainian Children
CIA chief William Burns suggests Putin will likely take further revenge against Yevgeny Pragogen following his failed mutiny. He believes Putin is trying to buy time as he works out how to deal with the mercenary head. Poland has said it will move military units to the east of the country to defend against Wagner's Belarusian presence. It comes after an estimated 3,000 Ukrainian children will likely be deported to Belarus by this autumn. The actions of the Belarus Red Cross have drawn stern criticism from the international federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent societies.
