How to Reconcile Genetics and Crossfit Training
If your max back squat is 135, you're probably not going to be very good at a lot of crossfit metcons. You want to get your max strength higher and then you can translate that into a metcon or making that kind of more of a cyclic work. And then that gets into all sorts of crazy theories about top level crossfit people and do their muscles actually occlude or not occlude? That's the way I would interpret it in part. What they're doing at the gym or at crossfit or during a competition may not be what they've done to get up to this point.
