The Roadblock to the Avenue Gang in Los Angeles

The Avenue gang are infamous for their participation in anti-Black hate crimes against innocent African-American inhabitants of their neighborhoods. So, when up to 20 members of La Aves saw an unknown vehicle headed through the heart of their well-defined territory, they saw it as both a direct threat and a direct challenge to their reign. Not only did they appear to be a straight-laced Caucasian couple, but the inclusion of multiple children in the car precluded the possibility of it being some kind of law enforcement operation. In a complete panic, Timothy simply put his foot down, plowing into the human roadblock in the hopes that they can make a sudden escape.
