What Is a GNSS Location Service?
The FUSE location service is based on a database of Wi-Fi hotspots and locations. It works by using signals from different constellations of satellites all at the same time. Each Wi-Fi Hotspot has a unique identifier, it's MAC address. And we can then work out, well do we have this particular Wi-Fi? What location does your mobile device use as aWi-Fi hotspot?"
