Is There an Art to Looking for Lichens?

When i am looking for lichens, my mind is clear and i am completely visual. There is an art to looking for lichen, a non rational appreciation of reality. I can agree with you that there's a lot of mis collecting being done. And that that's another part of it. It becomes like an avarice, a rational activity of collecting things. That takes a little relaxing. For some people, that they have to get beyond just thinking or just being active hychine and as a sport. You just have to relax and really let yourself go.
