Gambling is capitalism at its most extreme in that it is absolutely impossible for the customer to win. But if you do too well, then what as to you? You are black. The amount you can bet is restricted, yes, called stake factory. People get huge amounts of hospitality lavished on them when they can be relied upon to lose thousands of pounds. At the extreme end, i've spoken to the kind of high rollers who lost hundreds of thousands, millions of pounds - sometimes money stolen through fraud.
