The Purpose of the Note-Taking System

I write my notes in prose, so they could more or less be copy-pasted into a blog post. I have probably five or six notes that relate to some of the ideas I was talking about. They're generally a paragraph, because I try to keep them atomic. So for example, I have a note purely dedicated to the idea that a branching code can have cardinality - what that means. It allows me to build on tent and link my thoughts over time.
