The Different Types of Patriotism in Different Countries

In the US, people don't usually feel pride when talking about North America. This patriotism is kind of like a pride of an area or a region bigger than just one country. People might support an athlete from a country nearby because they share the same language and culture. And I've had European students that always talk about how they're European before calling themselves by their nationality.
