The Left's Plan in Spain
It is now generally agreed that the number of executions by the Republicans totaled about 55,000. Those by the Nationalists were more numerous, with estimates ranging from 60,000 to 100,000 or more. Pain says such violence had openly been part of the left's plan in Spain for years.
