There were some people in the ruling class who were on board with the luddites. Lord byron wrote a poem about it called song for the ludites. This is, again, this kind of the uncle sam for them. Is a man of mystery. No one really knows where he's at or where he'll strike. But all this propagana works. They take over the factory without further incident.
