Seven Ways to Boost Serotonin Naturally

Caffeine has been found to increase the receptors in our bodies, receptors for serotonin, upwards of 30 percent. When serotonin sensitivity is increased, it's sort of like installing a bigger satellite to essentially catch more of the existing serotonin signal. This intake of caffeine from coffee and other sources can also block the performance of other neurotransmitters like GABA that plays a critical role in maintaining homeostasis.
