The Narrative Machine
The notion of the narrative machine is really a take off from someone I admire very much, which is Ray Dalio. You have inputs, you have a transmission mechanism, you have an output, and you can understand it. And that's what I call the narrative machine. Most of the time, Newtonian physics is all you need to understand the world. But there are times like when, you know, you get near to the speed of light, or you're dealing with really large objects withreally intense gravities where this breaks down.
