The key thingd wor pe e v confused, is not understand thereis the distinction between genatic and genealogical ancestry. So at some point the number your ancestors is equal to the population, so every one would be descended from any person in that population. There's religious no evidence for or against god, specially creating a particular couple, you know, in our distant past. And it really comes down to whether or not we trust scripture and what we think it says. If you're a christian, you probably do trust it. But that debate is now kind of really disconnected from what the evidence is really telling us.
