Banks Take Advantage of the Discount Window
A week after everything kind of fell apart, we learned that the Fed lent $153 billion to banks since opening that emergency window which is a record I believe. The stigma such as it was that was associated with the discount window does seem to have gone away. And thank Christ because this is no time to worry about discount window stigmas.
