A Brief History of Instacart Data Science
montana, amyona: I joined instacart about seven years ago. One of the first projects that i did when i started there was pulling all the product catalogue data out of the single postcrast data base and moving it into a new postcrast Data Base. We were on red shifto because that's too slow and latent. It didn't really make sense to keep a lot of the stuff that we had built, because the original librarys built better imbedded solutions.
