Doctor carter: Patients are giving you clues and telling you about who they are with everything that they say. It's your job to sort of settle yourself and calm yourself so that you can see it. The interview is a collaborative process, so i don't always like that phrase of controlling the interview or losing control but there's a tipping point at which you need to help the patient. You need to work together with them to collaboratively provide the information that you need to work with.
