The Role of Speaker Pelosi in China's Foreign Policy
In 1996, Newt Gingrich went to Taiwan. Now of course it is Speaker Pelosi. So the exact same role. What was it that Newt Gingrich wanted to accomplish back in the day? And do you think that she is now is she satisfied with what she accomplished? Did she get what she wanted or were there some consequences that she thought the Chinese wouldn't do? How are you thinking about this? I have trouble putting myself in her shoes because she's the same party as Biden. She doesn't make a lot of sense to me.
