Was It Hard to Just Be a Poker Player?

You were on this high status track before you stepped off. Were you haunted by that? When I first started playing, I was just so deeply interested in the game and trying to figure out how do you solve for playing in this environment where you can't see other people's cards. There's a lot of luck involved. It's very, very hard to close feedback loops.
