CHAPTER

Computer Science and the Human Mind

The idea is their concept is essentially the material of superstition. They believe that if they knew the function and operation of every neuron or every molecule of the human brain, they would grasp how it functions. However, computer science tells us that that's a false belief. If you knew every molecule in the computer and how it connected to every other molecule, you still would have no idea of what the computer was doing unless you had access to the source code. It's the same way with the human mind. Knowing every molecules in the human mind in its location will not help you understand what the mind is doing or how it works.
