Wellington the Snob
Wellington was a politician all the way his time in the iberian peninsula. He's always had this political element, and the two are closely intertwined. Catholic emancipation is one of those moments when we see wellington's integrity. King pensarana says, no, not signing it because the king feels that it undermines his position as the head of the church of england. This is a constitutional crisis in itself. And wellington said, if you don't sign this bill, you can find yourself prime minister. The king backs down. So for me, that's a matter of integrity - he puts duty to the nation before the sovereign.
