The Importance of English in Medical Education

At the moment, we have 74 members in the program and it can vary anywhere between 60 to 120. It has in some years been six to 10 and more recently up to 30 members that can pass out over the course of a year. On average, our program can take anywhere from 16 to 18 months for people to complete. Outliers do exist. We've had somebody pass through the program in under three months. And then we've had other individuals who've been around for three or four years because they just can't get that English element. There's often additional things that can hamper that progress that we try and accommodate. I am so impressed by the resilience of our members.
