Since you were a child, all you ever talked about or thought about is food and restaurants. Why don't you just open a restaurant? The idea felt at the time, both foreign and like an absolute bullseye. From that moment on, I was off to the races. It would be nearly two years before I would have a location, a name or a menu for my restaurant. But instinctively, I knew how I would run the business. it would reflect the confluence of interests, passion, pleasure and family dynamics that had shaped my life.
