The Poor Are a Big Blow on India

Young middle class and dominant cast men foster class, gender and sexual entitlement over various urban spaces as well as bodies that inhabit those spaces. Men already are extremely privileged beings in many ways in the particular heteropatriarchal context that we have in India. But it's actually within that patriarchal privilege, the class privilege and caste privilege get amplified or compound this masculine privilege. Both privileges are working through each other to strengthen each other.
