Introduction

Fiona Hill has been closely involved in matters to do with Russia and Ukraine advising American administrations for many years. She became in 2017 the Deputy Assistant to President Donald Trump and senior director for European and Russian Affairs on his national security council. Famously now she gave explosive evidence against President Trump at his impeachment trial concerning the Ukraine scandal. Most recently has produced a number of books including one on the mind of Vladimir Putin called operative in the Kremlin.
