Industrial Policy - The Legacy of India's Industrial Policy

We still see these capital intensive industries to be what, you know, i think, was which prime mitoner referred to as the temples of modern india. And that's sort of been the legacy in our industry policy. Even if you look now at schemes like fiai, actually the selection of industries is very hi capital intensive in nature. We are seeing shiftin employment towards larger firms and it's happening not just in captein tensive industries. So that's something good, whichr whiches happened. But we need to reform labor laws,  and show people that they have decent employment.
