If you're going to be an adult moving back home act like an adult. My advice to kids is don't reassert your kid-ness back in the house. Come back as a grown up. If you don't have to pay market rent, it opens up a huge opportunity to save money and to get your finances in order. It means having a job with sufficient income to rent a place and save and live your life.
