The Effects of Nitric Oxide on Low Cardiac Outcome Syndrome

There's not really any evidence that nitric oxide delivered through a bypass circuit has a significant impact on many outcomes that we care about. I don't know whether this answers questions about how nitric oxide in a bypass circuit causes the proposed changes mechanistically in ischemia reperfusion injury or even in vascular circuits that are further afield like in the systemic vascular tone. But I think again, congratulations on a really well done trial.
