The Skin Color Aspect of the French Revolution

Before this era, say, several hundred years before, in the mediterranean, for example, you might have seen all the same sort of bigotry and prejudice and laws directed against certain kinds of people. And who wouldn't? I believe i said that they got there in 17 90, but these people got there at different times. After all, there aren't going to be kings and beheadings and guillotines and reigns of terror in the not too distant future.
