The Role of Parents in College Admissions

There is a stereotype of helicopter parents who are still monitoring their college-aged children's schoolwork and other aspects of their lives. Most universities mine certainly does provide all kinds of services to students who need help academic help psychological help medical attention tutoring you name it it's there, so don't worry as a parent that your child's needs are going to be unmet on campus but I think more important than that is college is a time not only for academic learning but it's time for personal growth. College is a very important time for the development of self-reliance and confidence in one's abilities to navigate the world.
