The Importance of Subsidiarity

I never felt like a single person in that home was reduced to a number. It's the same kind of sense that I had when I visited the Dominican Sisters of Hawthorne. They live one of the most important principles of Catholic social teaching which is Subsidiarity. Everything that they have, the missionaries have acquired through their relationships with other people. But that sort of raises you to be a sort of another Christ to these people.
