The Panpsychist Perspective on Consciousness and Relationship
Panpsychism is a natural implication of quantum theory. Some panpsychists want to say that thermostats are conscious, but I do think the plants are conscious because they're living. So one of the attractions for me of this panpsychist view in a polarism more generally is that there's a real continuity between human beings and all of our life forms. They're just as conscious as we are.
