Kaffine
Within an hour after ingesting coffee, your systemic kaffine levels will normally pique. Cafine is absorbed rapidly by almost every tissue in the body. We find effects on central nervous system where it has this well known effect of waking us up through a couple of mechanisms to do with adrenalin and denosine receptires. And also directly on the engine room, when you're exercising on your muscles, kafin can potentially make you use your stored carbohydrate reserves more sparingly which could postpone fatigue. There's some interesting evidence suggesting that it might help you, after exercise, store that carbohydrate more quickly.
