Vertical Platforms

I feel very conflicted on this question. Like i initially took the the philosophy that going very vertical in one local market makes the most sense to see if you can drive product market fit. Overtime, i've seen the opposite work really well too. So i don't thinkt there's a right or wrong approach, but i tend to favor a single category versusa cross category. Part of the reason being, i think horizontal platforms, you can't be everything to everyone and so you open yourself up to effectively being disrupted by vertical players overtime.
