The Messianic Claim Is Absolute

If god has sent the messiah then if he's the true messiah, then israel is re defined around him and by him. Anyone who doesn't join in is ruling themselves out. That's the logic of escatological messionism. A messianic claim is absolute. If it's false, it's a dangerous deceit. The crucified messiah was a scandal for jews and sheer madness to non jews. But that's the heart of it. As paul says,  ‘I think we should be very careful about what we believe'
