The Disappointment of Indian Politics

JP: There are many things which have failed to be nice and well meaning but because they were done very badly, they let you spectacularly. The optimism comes from two things - with increasing incomes, more and more people are willing to look at what needs to be done. And ultimately, I'm a great believer that if a few and light individuals, they understand what is their state and they do the right thing. Even the bulk of the people do not understand overnight. To change the world, you don't require millions of people on the march.
