Reconstruction Ends Because of Voter Suppression
Until 1910, 90% of the African-American people lived in the former Confederacy. South Carolina and Mississippi and Louisiana were majority black states. The way they shut down Reconstruction most effectively was to take away the right to vote. That's what we see today. And that's what we have to fight against. Because if people of color have the right toVote protected, there won't be a return of Donald Trump.
