In hiring people you had sort of your own distinctive questions you like to ask. The question I've come to like asking is, tell me something that's true that very few people agree with you on. You often get good answers, but most of the time it's some conventional truth That people say is even more true than anybody thinks. In Silicon Valley 2002-2008 there were basically two major things when did as a venture capitalist: invest in internet companies or clean tech. Clean tech was an unmitigated disaster; how could you have figured this out early?
