A forensic anthropologist was needed on sight, and doctor tracy rogers was soon put on the as. A team of university anthropology and archaeology departments that had a background in forensic work were hired to search every square inch of the farm. The digging operation uncovered between 30-40 bone pits which contained both animal and human bones. Four months after the ch began, the police had uncovered thousands of items they believed were belongings of the missing women of downtown east side Canada. So it was time to meet the families who would never see their loved ones again. They were told no, there were no bodies, but more than that Police started to lay out pictures of all the objects they'd recovered
