The Roman Republic and Its Demise

Many people see in American politics today between progressives and center-right conservatives. Kyle: There is a certain parallel here when you have an elite class who believes that they have some sort of right to govern and to rule over you. So that kind of approach is definitely there in the Roman Republic and is part of its demise. And I think you can identify that clearly in our society, this arrogance of an elite class dominated by progressivism.
