Science has now sort of caught up to this trend to verify it in a way that Legitimizes it. I mean that's what allowed me to get over the hump because I was coming to the extent that I Had ever even thought about meditation and I thought it was ridiculous. When I saw the science that suggests that it can lower your blood pressure boost your immune system Literally rewire key parts of your brain Then I thought okay, this makes sense. It became very obvious that when you can have some distance from your repetitive grim thought patterns your neurotic programs then then they don't control you as much.
