I feel like there is no good resolution about what happens to his psyche. The end of the book is the beginning of him reunifying himself into a complete person. He's clearly just disoriented and doesn't totally get this new world, but he can't feel comfortable in the old world either because he would be alive. And now he knows. That's a great fucking ending. Jesus Christ. It's the best ending. I'm just looking at the paragraphs now, and I'm like, oh my god, how is I not crying more?
