The Jekylllesh and the Philistines of the Bible
The Jekyllesh have long been associated with Sicily, though whether that's actually the case or not is pretty hard or impossible to say. The origins of the Peliset are unclear, and there are no mentions of them before Ramesses III. So this leaves us with Danuna, Equusch, and Wiesh. For a very long time, scholars have made the case that Danuna and Equusch were likely to refer to people from Aegean.
