Cerebral's Virtual Staff Meeting
Cerebral is a mental health company that was founded by Simone Biles, who famously stepped down from Olympic competition to focus more on her mental health. As it turns out, they're easy to sign up for and get prescribed medication too. On August 9, 2021, Cerebral hosted a mandatory virtual staff meeting for hundreds of their employees, therapists, counselors and prescribers alike. All at once, they were told that starting August 31, 2021, they would no longer be salaried with medical, dental and vision benefits. Some called this a bait and switch just to get them to join.
