Sebastian also played rhythm guitar and harmonica on the demos that became a big part of tim hardin's first album and his fourth. Eric jacobson, the producer of hardin's records, was impressed enough by sebastian to get him to record lead vocals for a studio group. The group under the name p and the heifer lumps recorded two beach boys knock offs, lady gediva and ruti toot - both written by Sebastian.
