Is There a Taste in Wine?

Taste is a very complicated thing because we talk about taste as something that people can be educated in. We all know that if we just brushed our teeth or sucked a lemon, we're not going to get the real taste of this fine merso you've brought me to drink. And I think there are tastes in wine. And those are different from the sensations we have when tasting it. It's also something about which we can make judgements about which there might even be standards of taste.
