The Power Over, Right?

i loved my conversation with loretta ross, who helped us understand that part of why somebody does that is their own shame. It's a lot easier to point out how everybody else is getting race wrong and getting all these things wrong than it is to really be honest and look in the mirror at some of our own ah mess. And for this, this is a little bit of a power over dynamic. This is hierarcule my i'm supposed to be the example to my children, and all of a sudden they're schooling me.
