The Numbers for Scratch Amateurs Are Pretty Amazing
i'm a big on four, making threes on par threes and four on par fives. And then you have the nucleus for a very good round. A scratch amateur from the fairway is going to average three shots to get up and down from 92 yards. To put that in context, a tour player averages three from a hundred an 68 yards. You can see there's a huge gap between tour players and scratch players.
