I Was a Little Kid Growing Up in Belgium, but Here Was a Slice of Americana

I was a little kid growing up in belgium, but here was a slice of americana that i could channel into. And i just fell in love with baseball, you know, irredeemably. I think we had 800 to a thousand kids every year in this league. And everybody played litleleage baseball. It's all volunteer. Nobody gets paid to coach. Soc generally, parents coach. Umpires are usually volunteer, but sometimes, i think recenty han page. But essentially, the culture is a volunteer culture, and is a participatory culture.
